I find that the "geometry" tool is very helpful with this lens. I use the auto setting and it makes a big difference.
The Canon RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM might be the lightest and most affordable zoom for full-frame EOS R cameras, but it doesn't offer much range or make particularly special images.
