There are five stats that can decide what type of Personality your character can have: Calculating. Generosity. Honor. Mercy. Valor. Each one of these stats will either increase or decrease based on your actions. Most of them will have one or two traits that you can get if you either lower or increase them a lot.
I really recommend throwing axes for the best throwing axe possible it’s 3 steel, 1 hardwood and 1 charcoal. They sell for 1,200+easy. Upgrade it for higher gains. If you own a city, instate policies that raise influence, like Council of The Commons. It gives you 1 influence per notable person, per day. Invest in skills that increase influence gain. The champion perk from Charm will give you 10 more influence So I take it the only way to stop the tribute is to make war again.
