Weapons Bows & Armor. I think it evenly splits the drops between those categories but then if weapons or armor's drop then it splits it again between which weapon type or armor type. Meanwhile the bow is just the bow and why it likely appears to be more drops than weapons or armor. If that makes sense.

Ofthe items you listed, I would recommend to take a good look at the Reinforced Shield. It's the best all-around shield in the game in my opinion. Heck, it may well be the only shield you will ever need. And never sell or dismantle any legendary items, except if you have duplicates. You may come to regret it later.
Asodyssey goes full on JRPG and every single piece of equipment matters. You would have literal builds to min-max certain atributes like warframe. All your dmg and hp is determined by evry single piece. Origins outfit is purely cosmetic and weapon damage only worries about its up front damage.
