With improved autofocus from its predecessor and 4K/60p video without a crop, it's effectively a full-frame version of the EOS R7. Read our in-depth Canon EOS R6 Mark II review Sony A6600
In crop mode the 50D can do 3.8x crop 1080p in approx. 16:9 aspect ratio. Focal Length Measurements and Field of View. Full frame cameras have a fixed 35mm sensor. On the other hand, crop sensors can have varying dimensions, including 23.6mm x 15.6mm, 22.2mm x 14.8mm, 18.7mm x 14mm, 17.3mm x 13mm, and 8.8mm x 6.6mm. The difference in focal length also depends on the multiplier.
The full frame handled higher ISOs much better, and the colour in the images was much improved. Yes, you do lose a bit in zoom distance but this is very much compensated for by the improved image quality. Apart from the EF-S lenses many other lenses fit both crop sensor and full frame, especially if you buy other than Canon.
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II is a full-frame DSLR camera. It’s well-built, comfortable to use, has an intuitive menu system, and offers decent overall battery life. It also delivers excellent image quality, with little apparent noise or graininess present in images and a fairly high dynamic range.
Also, the 6D frame rate is too slow for most moving wildlife and birds. Aside from that, you are used to 150-600 on a crop sensor, which is roughly equivalent to 240-960mm. With the 6D, you are left with a the actual 150-600 which is going to seem very short by comparison. I would avoid the original 7D, because the image quality is inferior
