After playing in several Irish bands which included The Action (not to be confused with an English band of the same name), in 1972, Wilkinson was cast as Judas Iscariot in the Dublin production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar; he went on to reprise the role in London and on the British national tour.

Jones-Davies appeared in a number of roles in the company of the original London cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. She also appeared as Rox in the television series Rock Folles. I am old enought to have seen the original Jesus Christ Superstar when it was original. I love that cast but the Australian cast, especially John Farnham in the role of Jesus, leaves me with goose bumps. The quality of the CD I recieved is excellent and I will use Amazon to find other"old stuff". Lyn
