Switch mode at the moment I’m using B but I feel like that’s a disadvantage so like you said I’m considering L3. Another option is adding on a 3rd paddle but I’ve found that holding the controller like that is awkward. How about Jump left paddle, Switch mode right paddle, edit L3 with confirm on release or R1 or L1 for confirm edit.

My binds on those slots usually go in an order. My primary weapon is assigned on 1 (Pistols, SMGs), Slot 2 (Ranged weapons, AR and Snipers), 3rd slot (Shotguns) and the 4th and 5th slots are either event items, heals or for rotation purposes (Hammers, jump pads, etc) Honestly, once you get used to a layout, it'll feel automatic during fights
I have run set to automatic and have always used my left stick to edit, so I have no clue what to make my new sprint button. 6. 18. Sort by: Add a Comment. Ssquad. • 2 yr. ago. As of right now I set mine to right on the d-pad. Figured my thumb is right there for auto sprint so makes it easy to reach, imo.
Bind Jump and Build to the D-Pad via the Fortnite in-game button remapper. Then bind those D-Pad actions to paddles using the Xbox Elite Controller app in Xbox Settings. Then just use the Fortnite mapper again to bind whatever to your empty A and B buttons. 242 votes, 188 comments. 617K subscribers in the FortniteCompetitive community.
