That pirate version must be the older one where you need to log on to social club, but social club no longer exists, thats why rockstar uploaded the complete edition, for deleting the social club cloud saving system and combining GTA IV with the DLC. Just save money for the game in steam or rockstar launcher.

When you enter the game, does it automaticly enters the GTA 4 or open the main menu? If you are automaticly transfered into the game, check the plug-in folder (if u use FusionFix) cause in there there is configuration file that you can edit.
